Some of the problem with this film is that it just drags. By me saying "drags" not in boring just too much talking and planning and for what plan? I really think that when a film has main characters that turn out to be such horrible people it's hard to appreciate what's going on. They way they kept manipulating the family, especially the mother about their child having severe disabilities, the elderly care taker being accused of having TB it's just horrible. The acting, atmosphere, and cinematography was flawless! The big issue with this film is that the family that you actually care about you don't see much, even after all the crazy stuff going on at the party, you never see them again. I really would have liked this film to have more hope for the other family and to have a better title for a film like this. Yes I understand the symbolism behind it but this should've been more intense for what ALL these people are saying it to be! This movie isn't a comedy nor horror just messed up. Takes more viewings but it's brilliantly made and directed.
